We have had a busy couple of months. The dry wall has been covered with a coat of paint and a new ceiling has been dropped in. All of the light fixtures have been connected and all of the heating & air conditioning duct work has been installed. Tile has been added to the bathrooms and carpeting has been laid. We anticipate finishing the plumbing fixtures, installing all hardware for all the doors, and working in the kitchen over the next few weeks. We still need financial help with the appliances and we will have several workdays to set up the building with furnishings. We are thankful for all that God has provided.

It's been a busy two weeks for our new building: Insulation has been put in, sheetrock has been hung and prepared for paint, and power poles are being set

Walls, windows, roofing, and siding have all been put in place over the last two weeks. The covered entry-way has been completed and tied into the main structure as well. Some of the interior work includes heating and air conditioning duct work and the placement of the air handling units in the maintenance room. The bricks have finally arrived and should be done by the first of next week.
Come back in a few weeks and see how our church workday went with paint and clean-up.

The building is really taking shape with interior
and exterior walls being erected. The trusses have also been set in place with
the help of this large crane.

Last week, starting on April 20, with hammers pounding, nail guns firing, and compressors running the shape of the new family life center began to appear. We are pleased to see the progress and hope that the rain will not delay us too much. It is exciting to see what God is doing. Next week, trusses, plywood, and roofing material.

On
Monday, April 13, the day after Easter, the foundation was poured for the new
building along with a new sidewalk from the existing parking lot and worship
center. Over 40 truckloads of cement and four hours later the foundation and
sidewalks were poured. It was an amazing process.

Plumbing was stubbed in and trenches were dug for the new concrete beams and
footers being put in place.

All
the grass and top soil have been removed and fill dirt brought in for the new
building. We will now wait for it to settle before setting the forms for the
foundation and stubbing in the plumbing."

The new entrance from F.M. 521 to the church property has been
completed.

Ground-breaking ceremonies took place on Sunday, October, 12, 2008 after the morning service. Pastor Gary Moon, along with the Elders and Deacons of the church started the much anticipated work on the new Family Life Center. This new 10,000 square foot building will be used for education, fellowship, administration, and activities.

The church members are trusting that God will continue to raise up the funds, since we do have a "no debt" policy. If you are interested in helping us complete this project, please feel free to contact us through this website.
More pictures to come as we begin this exciting time of expansion and updating our church campus. Will you pray and ask God to help us as we begin this work?
